MCAT's Movie Club presents A Night of Shorts

This collection, showcasing area media-making talent, is annual event of MCT's Movie Club. The Club meets the last Thursday of each month in the MCAT studio at 7:30pm. Everyone is invited. The Night of Shorts is the result of an open call to all Missoula area video makers to enter a video in any genre no longer than ten minutes. Missoula responded and the program consists of 20 short videos of any stripe and character. Many are very funny, some of them are really touching, and all of them show great promise and heart. The short program will be screened at The Roxy Theatre on Friday, November 7th. There will be a reception for videomakers, friends and family from 6:30pm with a screening to begin about 7pm. An awards ceremony follows the screening which includes an Audience Choice..

Streaming Video

MCAT is pleased to announce that it has begun testing streaming video of each channel from this website using Mogulus (follow this link to the Mogulus site). Use these links to Channel 7 and Channel 11, or under the Video Streams item on the navigation bar above. The City of Missoula continues to work on its own Video on Demand for city government meetings.

A New Look

The MCAT website has undergone a complete redesign with special emphasis on enhancing program and schedule information. Users are encouraged to use the new search feature (above on the schedule tab of the menubar). The MCAT Program Contract and Media Assistance Grant forms are now online for your convenience.

An informal survey of website visitors last year revealed some dissatisfaction with the old site's never changing quality. MCAT management is committed to keeping the new site updated and making information about the happenings at the station available to the public. Look for more information about MCAT programs and producers on this site in the coming months.

Please feel free to express your opinions about the makeover to the webmaster.
